Spruce Up Your PS4 with Handcrafted Wooden Paneling

Do you have a hankering for sleek, stylish wooden paneling on your electronics? Does your rec room have wooden walls, flooring, and furniture, and you're reticent to stick a futuristic plastic box in it? Are you fond of the Sixties and wish that wood-paneled look had never gone out of style? Well, if so, good news! There's now a PlayStation 4 with your name. on it.

Balolo, a German firm that specializes in covering electronic gadgets with sleek wooden cases, is now offering a wooden case for the PlayStation 4. It comes in four varieties: bamboo, cherry, walnut and zebrawood, and is divided in two so you can combine two different woods if you like. The wood is .7 millimeters thick (or about .03 inches), bound with a long-lasting adhesive, handcrafted and authentic. No special implements are required to install the casing; in fact, you can order a PS4 with the casing already installed for a much higher price tag.

The first thousand pieces sold will come engraved with serial numbers and in special wooden boxes. The cost for a case without a PlayStation is €149.90 (or $208). While balolo ships worldwide (and without extra charge), the PS4s ship with German plugs.
