Kirito Faces Oberon in New Umaibo Snack Promo

Namco began streaming a promotional video on Wednesday for the crossover between its line of Umaibo puffed corn snacks and the Sword Art Online television anime. The commercial re-enacts the finale of the Sword Art Online Fairy Dance arc. In the video, Oberon has Asuka captive but she's in snack form. Kirito is unable to move due to gravity magic, and can only watch as Oberon unwraps snack-Asuka and eats her while laughing maniacally.
The Sword Art Online tie-in campaign launched on Friday and will run until April 21. Crane game prizes include Umaibo tie-in snacks with limited edition clear files and wall scrolls. Visitors will also get Weiss Schwarz cards.
Namco has collaborated with other anime in the past, such as the Attack on Titan anime, Monogatari Second Season anime and the third Madoka Magica film.
