Food Wars! Takes Over 'Delish Kitchen' App

Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma anime and manga's appeal is multifaceted. There's the the silly fanservice that ranges from peanut butter tentacles to dashing fruit princess. There's the action-packed character face-offs as each contestant attempts to outdo the other with their unique cooking prowess. Then, there's also the gorgeously rendered food that makes viewers salivate.
The anime cast and staff have attempted to replicate the show's featured cuisine before, but this might mark the first official collaboration that focuses on teaching the viewer how to cook some of the series' recipes.
Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma is teaming up with the Delish Kitchen app and website to recreate the dishes seen in the manga and anime. Readers can head on over to find out how to make "Roast Pork, Just Kidding" from the manga's debut chapter and first anime episode and Soma's Souffle Omelette from the Breakfast Buffet Challenge in volume five and episode 13.
The 28th volume of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma goes on sale in Japan on February 2. Viz Media is releasing the manga in English in North America and will release the 22nd volume on February 6. The second cour of Food Wars! The Third Plate will premiere in April with the "Tōtsuki Ressha" (Tōtsuki Train) arc. Crunchyroll has streamed all three seasons as they aired in Japan thus far.
