Voice Actor Toshiyuki Toyonaga Announces Birth of Daughter

Voice actor Toshiyuki Toyonaga announced on his official blog on Monday that his first child, a daughter, was born last year. Toyonaga said he plans to strive as both a man and a father from now on, and he thanked fans for their support.

Toyonaga revealed his marriage to a woman outside the industry in 2015. He had known her for about four years before they married.

Toyonaga won the Best Lead Actor Award in the 12th Annual Seiyū Awards in March. His anime roles include Yuri!!! on Ice's Yūri Katsuki, Tokyo Ghoul's Hideyoshi Nagachika, Durarara!!'s Mikado Ryūgamine, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE's Flit Asuno, Bungo Stray Dogs' Junichirō Tanizaki, and Free! -Timeless Medley- Yakusoku's Asahi Shiina.
