Attack on Titan 'Final' Exhibition Scheduled for Summer 2019

Hajime Isayama's incredibly popular Attack on Titan is winding down to its conclusion. Isayama recently appeared on MBS documentary program Jōnetsu Tairiku to discuss just that and was shown struggling to bring his story to a close.
There isn't a confirmed end date for the manga, even though Isayama is hard at work on the last arc's drafts. An upcoming exhibition announced on Monday may give a hint on when the manga might end. The Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Hills will hold the "Attack on Titan Exhibition final" from July 5, 2019 to September 8, 2019. Of course, other series have announced their "finals" (I'm looking at you, Gin Tama) only to continue in another shape or form. This could just as easily be the "final" exhibition and nothing more, if it's even that.
This is the first exhibition to contain original art from the series in five years. The last exhibition to do so was the "Attack on Titan Exhibition WALL TOKYO" that was held at the Ueno Royal Museum in 2014. The upcoming exhibit will feature even more original artwork and content to allow visitors to experience the manga's world. A new character voice guide and further details will be announced as the event approaches.
Attack on Titan was the subject of a key animation exhibition at Ikebukuro Sunshine City World Import Mall over the summer before heading to Osaka until October.
Isayama launched the main Attack on Titan manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009, and Kodansha published the 26th compiled book volume in Japan on August 9. Kodansha Comics publishes the series in print in English, and it released the 25th volume on July 3. Crunchyroll also publishes the manga in English digitally as new chapters are published in Japan. The manga has 86 million copies in print.
