Anime producers make live action film.

Anime director Hideaki Anno (Evangelion, Nadia) has recently completed production of a live action film entitled Shiki Jitsu (Celebration Day). The movie which was partially produced by Studio Ghibli as well as Tokuma Shoten, premieres on December 7th at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.
Shiki Jitsu is the story trials a tribulations of a young woman played by Fujitani Ayako who has had her life ruined by her lover (Muurakami Jun) and mother (Ootake Shinobu).
The music for Shiki Jitsu was created by Kako Takashi, inclusing the ending theme, "Raining", by well known Japanese singer Cocco.
