Pathé of France to dub & distribute Manga's titles in French

Manga Entertainment has announced a deal with Parisian-based entertainment company Pathé. Pathé will dub Manga's Japanese animated DVD and VHS films into French and distribute them to French territories and French speaking countries worldwide including: France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Africa.

Manga President, Marvin Gleicher and Pathé Distribution Director of Development, Abel Nahmias made the deal. "Pathé is very excited to work with Manga Entertainment; their expertise in the Japanese market is very valuable to us," says Nahmias. "Marvin has been a great help and support to help us building new grounds for Japanese animation in our territory."

In addition to video distribution, Pathé manages a library of movie rights and produce films for their theatrical and television divisions. Pathé runs their own television network, distribute films to other stations, and operate over 280 movie theatres in Europe. Notably the most successful entertainment company in Europe for over 100 years, Pathé's commitment to the rival of the movie industry has rapidly expanded into digital pay-TV, holding them in an original position in the European audio/visual entertainment market.

"Pathé is the best run entertainment company in Europe and we are extremely pleased that Manga is in such great hands," stated Gleicher. "Abel Nahmais' and Pathé's understanding and enthusiasm of our genre' will propel Japanese animation to new levels."

In addition to it's main office in Chicago, Manga Entertainment has offices in England and Japan, and already has its titles distributed in England.
