TRSI upgrading, will close for a while

posted on
Right Stuf will be upgrading their computer systems to improve customer service in areas such as order tracking and as a result will be offline for several days in August.

From the TRSI website:

You've been asking for it and we've been listening.

Thanks to all of your suggestions, Right Stuf is currently undergoing a massive computer upgrade to improve the quality of services to you. You've asked for better online store features such as tracking, item availability and order status checking - they're coming.

As we make this transition through the coming months, we ask for your help and understanding as we work through the bumps along the way. There will be a number of changes to our systems both online and off.

Our staff will be learning how to use this new system as fast as they can and the website will be undergoing a massive upgrade including a new server and a new backend store engine.

As our upgrades occur, there may be periods where certain parts of our system may go offline or become unavailable. We will do our best to inform you of these outages in advance, but uncontrollable spontaneous outages may occur.

At this time, we know that we will be shutdown from 8/3 to 8/12. During this time, our staff will be undergoing training and the final stages of our system will be completed. This will cause us to be unable or access information regarding the status of your order to process orders received via phone, fax, mail or web.

We also know that we will be unable to ship out any orders during this period, but we will work doubly hard to insure that once the system is back up all orders are shipped out as promptly as possible.

Should you experience any technical difficulties with the website, please send us an email at info@Right Stuf.com explaining your browser type (i.e. Netscape 6.0 / Explorer 5.5) and the problem you encountered so we can fix the problem as fast as possible.

Thank all of you for your continued support and we hope that you bear with us through this transition.

Sincerely,
Shawne Kleckner
President, CEO
