Yaoi-Con aanounces new guest, Yonezawa Yoshihiro.

[Yaoi-Con 2001] Press Release - San Francisco, CA

Yaoi-Con 2001 is proud to welcome Yonezawa Yoshihiro, co-founder and president of the famous semi-annual Tokyo Comiket event. Joining Yonezawa will be three of his executive staff members and his wife, Eiko, also a Comiket co-founder. The Comiket contingent will present panels at Yaoi-Con, and we can look forward to their table in the Dealer's Room, which will be stocked with the latest varieties of doujinshi!

Born in Kumamoto Prefecture on March 21, 1953, Yonezawa studied at Meiji University, where he started fan clubs for manga and science fiction. Since that time, he has written extensively as a manga critic and book/music reviewer. Currently, Yonezawa is focusing on critiquing mystery manga, as well as releasing how-to type books such as "Doujinshi Daihyakka" (A Great Encyclopedia of Doujinshi/Doujinshi Handbook).
