CPM Release Dates

CPM Release dates through December 2002. Extras on Grave of the Fireflies and Harmegedon DVDs

Reader Dariath has sent us the following list of CPM release dates that were mailed to retailers by CPM. Tom Wayland of Central Park Media has confirmed for us that this list is very accurate with a few changes.

Their October / November releases have been slightely shifted with "The Haunted Lantern", "The Ping Pong Club: Love & Comedy (Die! Die! Die!)" and "Harmagedon" expected out on October 22^nd.

Although the list is accurate, and CPM does expect to meet all the dates they have set, Wayland stressed that with the October thru December dates, being so far in advance, there was always a possibility of them being changed.

While on the topic of the October releases, Wayland also told us about some extras in the Grave of the Fireflies and Harmagedon DVDs. Grave of the Fireflies will contain an interview with Roger Ebert, who called it "one of the most powerful films I've seen," in March 1999.. Harmegedon will include commentary from the director, Rintarō.
