Fuchizaki Yuriko makes first North American Appearance, Carl Macek Receives achievement award.
Yuriko Fuchizaki, the voice of Li Kohran in Sakura Wars and Anthy in Revolutionary Girl Utena, will make her first North American convention appearance at Anime Overdose 2004. In addition to her anime voice acting career, Miss Fuchizaki is also well known throughout Japan for her popular FM radio show.
Joining Miss Fuchizaki will be well known Audio Producer and Engineer Murasaki Hirofumi. Hirofumi will conduct an on the spot voice recording demo with Miss Fuchizaki.
Saki Nimiya, a video game designer with CyberFront Japan, is Anime Overdose's third Japanese guest announced to date (although more guests may yet be announced). Mr Nimiya has worked on games such as as Princess Maker and Seikai no Senki.
Headlining the domestic guests is Carl Macek, who will be honored at a "Carl Macek luncheon" and will be presented with achievement award for his 20 years in the animation business.
Other notable domestic guests include anime scholars Fred Patten and Gilles Poitras.
