Maetel to Greet Travelers at Shin Kitakyushu Airport

Shin Kitakyushu Airport will be opening on March 16 in Kitakyushu (Fukuoka Prefecture). Since Kitakyushu is the hometown of the Leiji Matsumoto, they will have a Maetel robot (from Galaxy Express 999) as a general information machine. The Maetel robot's artificial intelligence is programmed so she can answer about 200 different questions. Her voice is that of the real voice of Maetel, Masako Ikeda. Thanks to Jim for this item.
