Captain Tsubasa in Iraq

The Captain Tsubasa soccer anime will be dubbed into Arabic and donated to the Iraq Media Network, according to Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The dubbed version will be called Captain Majed and will be provided "within coming days." Early last year the Ministry said it was considering a plan to subsidize anime broadcasts in underdeveloped nations as a way to foster understanding of Japanese culture and develop future anime markets.
