You must be proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Must be deadline oriented, and be able to conceptualize with little direction. Requires effective time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills. We are looking for an artist who can effectively lead large scale projects and is also willing to crank out the more mundane production work. Ability to correct grammar and spelling mistakes, and to vector detailed images is a plus.

Web Designer/Developer

FUNimation Productions is seeking a highly skilled web designer/developer for an entry level position. The applicant must be a creative, self-motivated individual, capable of working independently or in a team environment, on multiple projects at once and complete assigned tasks within a time-sensitive environment. The ideal candidate for this position will be a high-energy, self-motivated graphic designer with the ability to turn rough ideas into their ideal website.

1. College/University degree preferred; 2 to 4 years trade school acceptable. 3+ years experience in design.


2. Strong sense of design and a high level of creativity are essential.

3. PC proficiency required; Mac proficiency a plus. Advanced knowledge of Flash, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver required. Video compression/editing, sound editing, and actionscript knowledge preferred.

Assistant Brand Manager/Brand Manager

Assistant Brand Manager

Working hand in hand with a Senior Brand Manager, the Assistant Brand Manager will assist in the building of brands and execution of projects, from concept to completion. The selected candidate will assist in the development and execution of brand marketing plans and creative promotional concepts. Passion and motivation are essential as is a strong work ethic and drive to see a brand succeed. The Assistant Brand Manager will monitor the success of brand initiatives via product sales and consumer feedback and make recommendations accordingly. This position requires a self-starter who works well both alone and within a team. The candidate selected will be hard working, independent, a quick study and will be able to hit the ground running and immediately begin to contribute.

Brand Manager

The Brand Manager will be the passionate, yet business-minded, driving force behind the success of a portfolio of entertainment brands. The candidate selected will be responsible for building brands and executing brand-based projects, from concept to completion. They will develop and manage project timelines in order to assure timely development of product, brand communications and deliverables. The Brand Manager has direct profit and loss responsibility as it relates to the assigned portfolio of brands. This position requires a proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic. This is someone who works well both alone and within a team. From day one, the selected candidate will hit the ground running by troubleshooting on existing brands and developing new brands.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and QUALIFICATIONS:

* The Assistant Brand Manager will:
o Assist in the development marketing/brand plans and presentations
o Assist in media and promotions planning
o Utilize primary and secondary data to report television ratings, consumer insights and brand sales
o Maintain consistent brand communications across the company
o Quality-check creative for overall campaign message and brand communications
o Be extremely detail-oriented, logistically competent, process-oriented, organized and able to problem solve with a proven ability to implement plans and achieve goals
o Work well and be comfortable with math, numbers, calculations and analysis.
o Have the ability to utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills both internally and externally
o Coordinate special brand projects as needed
o Be willing to assume other responsibilities as needed

* The Brand Manager will:
o Be able to hit the ground running immediately to manage a portfolio of entertainment brands and work well in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
o Develop marketing/brand plans and presentations with an eye toward profitability

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION RECEIVED/GIVEN:

Assistant Brand Manager performs all duties under direction of a Senior Brand Manager. Brand Manager reports to the Vice President of Marketing. In both positions, the ability to be an organized, self-starter is essential. Neither position has direct reports.

EDUCATION/TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:

The successful Assistant Brand Manager will have a minimum of two years experience working in an ad agency in a project management or branding capacity. Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required.

The successful Brand Manager will have five to seven years of experience in marketing or branding. A minimum of two of those years should be in a marketing management capacity. Ad agency experience or product management experience is preferred. A Bachelors degree in Marketing or Advertising is required. MBA or Masters in Marketing a plus.

Both candidates should have an interest in pop culture, animation and entertainment and have industry knowledge.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficient personal computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access. MS Project is a plus.

* Document all application changes in adherence to established change management procedures.
* Work closely with the Senior Application Support Analyst to ensure database requirements are properly addressed.
* First and second level end user support of all desktop applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, various Adobe applications and web based applications.
* Administration and support of company network and telephone infrastructure.
* Monitor and maintain confidentiality and security of all company data.

Secondary Job Responsibilities

* Provide on the job training to new team members.
* Attend development meetings with users and departmental managers to determine application needs.

Requirements

* Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills are required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Excellent troubleshooting and customer services skills.
* Excellent communications and documentation skills both verbal and in writing.
* Basic understanding of flow charting and database design tools for documentation.
* Good understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite and how it is implemented. Clear understanding of DNS, FTP, and various implementations of HTTP/S servers to include but not limited to Apache and Microsoft IIS.
* One or more years of experience of application programming using C# and asp.net or a similar web based development system. Knowledge of SQL 2000 and SQL 2005. Experience in writing Stored Procedures and basic SQL scripts a plus.
* One or more years of experience in the installation, support and administration of the Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems.
* Two or more years of experience in the installation, support and administration of the Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
* Two or more years of experience in the installation, support and administration of the Microsoft Windows Office Applications as well as other common desktop applications currently in use.
* One or more years experience in the installation, support and administration of local area networking hardware.
* May be required to work evenings and weekends in response to support and project issues to minimize downtime during production hours.
