posted on 2006-10-18 01:14 AESTToki wo Kakeru Shoujo (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time), won best animated film in the ANIMA'T category at the 2006 Sitges Festival. Kihachiro Kawamoto's The Book of the Dead also received a special mention for excellent technique and real skill in the difficult art of puppet animation.
