5th TV Anime for Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro Announced

Classic Anime Returns for an all new series
Mizuki Shigeru's manga GeGeGe no Kitarō is coming back to TV, thanks to Toei Animation. The 5th TV Anime to be based on the series starts this April on Fuji TV affiliates across Japan. The show will air at 9AM on Sundays.
GeGeGe no Kitarō has been made into a TV anime 4 times previously, and a live-action film based on the manga enters Japanese theatres on April 28th. The first Anime based on the manga aired in 1968 in black and white. Since then, new TV Anime based on Kitaro aired in 1971, 1985 and 1996.
