Viz to Publish Naruto at 3 Books a Month at Year's End

posted on by Egan Loo
Viz Media announced that it will publish the Naruto ninja manga series at the rate of three volumes a month between September and December 2007. Printing volumes 16-27 in four months will bring the North American release schedule closer to the Japanese one, which is at volume 37. The North American version of Shonen Jump will continue to serialize Naruto. As part of the larger Naruto Nation campaign, Viz will publish a Naruto Anime Profiles book on Hiden Shippu Emaki and an Ani-Manga color graphic novel on the first Naruto movie in September, the deluxe Uzumaki: Art of Naruto book and Naruto Mission: Protect The Waterfall Village! novel in October, and the fourth Naruto Collector magazine issue in the fall.
