Fullmetal Alchemist's Arakawa's Newest to be Animated
posted on 2007-06-22 02:38 AESTThe July issue of Shōnen Gangan Powered (on sale June 22) has confirmed that Jyūshin Enbu: Hero Tales, the latest manga from Fullmetal Alchemist's Hiromu Arakawa, will be animated for television. The previous issue had advertised an "important announcement." The Chinese-mythology-inspired story revolves around a boy named Taitō, the prophesied seventh star of the Hokuto (the Big Dipper), who must journey with his sister and friend to recover a legendary sword. Shōnen Gangan Powered is a bimonthly spinoff of Monthly Shōnen Gangan magazine, where Fullmetal Alchemist runs. Source: Moon Phase
