Bleach to Arrive on Nintendo Wii, & DS

Sega Europe has announced that it will release two games based on the popular Anime series Bleach. Titled Bleach: Shattered Blade for the Nintendo Wii video game console and Bleach: The Blade of Fate for the Nintendo DS portable game system will find there way into gamers hands this Autumn. The Wii game will incorporate the Wii Remote and Nunchuk for performing sword attacks requiring the player to thrust, jab and slash with the wii remote just like a soul reaper. The DS game will support four-player Wi-Fi gameplay and features a twist on the traditional 2D fighting game with a new kind of battle system incorporating split-plane battle arenas which will enable players to move between upper and lower areas to chase after or escape from opponents.. Sega Japan had previously released Bleach Wii: Hakujin Kirameku Rondo last December and two Bleach DS games, Sōten ni Kakeru Unmei and Kokui Hirameku Requiem, in January of 2006 and February of 2007, respectively.
