Shōnen Ace Publishes Extra Issue Devoted to Evangelion

The Japanese publisher Kadokawa Shoten released a Monthly Shōnen Ace spinoff issue that is devoted entirely to Neon Genesis Evangelion on August 21. The 350-yen Neon Genesis Evangelion Summer Compilation issue reproduces the contents of the first two volumes of the Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's Evangelion manga. It also includes material from Tony Takezaki (A.D. Police, Geno Cyber), Yun Kouga (Earthian, Loveless), and other creators.
In addition to the Shōnen Ace spinoff issue and the current issue of Rolling Stone (Japanese edition), Evangelion also adorns the cover of the Continue game magazine's Volume 35 (on sale August 15), the Kinema-Junpō movie magazine's September 1 issue (on sale August 20), and Newtype animation magazine's September issue (on sale August 10).
