Museum Exhibit on Ghibli Art Extended to October 1

Popular Kazuo Oga exhibition to open on holidays, extend weekend hours
The Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo has extended the run of its Kazuo Oga Exhibition, a collection centering on the art director for most Ghibli films from My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke to Howl's Moving Castle and Tales from Earthsea. The exhibition nows run until October 1, and the museum will stay open on three days (September 18 and 25, and October 1) that it initially planned to be closed.
In addition, the museum will extend its hours on September 22, 23, 24, 29, and 30 (the last two weekends of the run) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Due partly to an influx of overseas attendees and repeat visitors, the wait time in the line entering the exhibition has extended beyond 100 minutes on weekend afternoons.
