Gintama's Sorachi, 19's Kitagawa Draw 1-Shot Manga

Higashimura's Chuō-Sen Cinema Paradise, Gintama anime's 3rd year also confirmed

Shueisha's Jump Square manga magazine has announced that its "Supreme Yomikiri Series" of one-shot manga by famous creators will continue with 13 by Hideaki Sorachi (Weekly Shonen Jump's Gintama) and Chuō-Sen Cinema Paradise by Akiko Higashimura (Weekly Morning's Himawari — Kenichi Legend) in its March issue (on sale on February 4). Chuō-Sen or Chuō Line is the main train route that connects the east and west sides of Tokyo. On a related note, the Fumuode Pon character goods store has confirmed that Sorachi's Gintama anime will continue into its third year. The confirmation came in an advertisement for Bandai's Gintama G Clear Collection of Cardass cards which will mark the milestone. Viz Media publishes the Gintama manga in North America

In a separate development, Shonengahosha's Monthly Young King magazine will run a special one-shot Kizuna manga from Shō Kitagawa (19, B.B. Fish) in its April issue (on sale on February 19). Madhouse adapted 19 into a 1990 anime video, and Production I.G adapted B.B. Fish into a 1994 anime video. Kitagawa's Kizuna manga apparently has no relationship with Kazuma Kodaka's manga of the same name.
