Haruka Director Aki Tsunaki to Attend Sakura-Con

Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Initial D animation director to be at Seattle con in March

Sakura-Con has announced that Aki Tsunaki, the director of Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time – A Tale of the Eight Guardians, will appear at the March 28-30 convention in Seattle, Washington. Tsunaki will be appearing courtesy of Bandai Visual USA, which will start releasing this anime series in North America on April 22. The anime will also have its American premiere at the convention. Tsunaki oversaw the animation in Eat-Man '98, Initial D, Pokémon 2000 - The Movie, YAT Anshin! Uchu Ryokou, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. Sakura-Con will also host Vic Mignogna, Steve Prince, ketchup mania, The Slants, SCANDAL, ALI PROJECT, and Roland Kelts.
