High school boy trapped in virtual recreation of ancient Edo-era Japan

The official Japanese website for the Amatsuki television anime series is streaming a one-minute, 35-second promotional movie. The story follow a boy named Tokidoki Rikugō as he gets trapped in an advanced museum's fully immersive, virtual recreation of ancient Edo-era Japan. The recreation happens to include supernatural creatures and magic.

This anime adaptation of Shinobu Takayama's manga was announced in October, and the series will premiere on April 4. Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Rurouni Kenshin, Le Chevalier D'Eon, Getbackers) is directing the Studio DEEN project and co-writing the scripts with Chieko Suzuki. Shinobu Tagashira (Shonen Onmyouji, Hunter X Hunter) is designing the characters. Voice actor Jun Fukuyama (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion's Lelouch, xxxHOLiC's Kimihiro) plays Tokidoki, and Kōji Yusa (Ergo Proxy's Vincent) plays Kon, another boy trapped in virtual world.
