CoLours TV No Longer Runs FUNimation Channel Programs

posted on by Egan Loo
Network carried two hours of FUNimation's anime every weekday

As of April 30, the Colours TV network no longer runs FUNimation Channel's syndicated anime programming in the United States. Colours TV began carrying FUNimation Channel's programming in September of 2006. It had initially carried four weekday evening hours of anime from Funimation, but more recently ran two weekday hours of programming from 10:00 p.m. to midnight ET. The Colours TV network is available through the Dish Network satellite service and some terrestrial stations. FUNimation Channel's programming is still available over-the-air in Sacramento, California; Dayton and Columbus, Ohio; New York City, New York, and Wausau, Wisconsin, although only New York City's WRNN-DT3 digital channel is carrying the programming 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The channel is also available on Verizon's FIOS TV service. ANN is awaiting Funimation's response to a request for comment.
