Inugami's Masaya Hokazono to also start new manga in Shonen Magazine

The 24th issue (released on May 14) of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine has announced that three new manga titles will be joining its lineup. In the next issue which will ship on May 21, Masaya Hokazono (Inugami) will adapt Akira Ishiguro's shito Nippon novel. The shito Nippon Kagutsuchi manga will expand upon Ishiguro's suspense story of a volcano that almost destroyed Japan 300,000 years ago, and now threatens to do so again.

Kouji Seo (Suzuka) will start an unnamed manga in Shonen Magazine's 26th issue, which will go on sale in two weeks. Del Rey has so far published seven of the 18 volumes of Seo's earlier Suzuka work.

Akimine Kamijyō (Samurai Deeper Kyo) will launch another unnamed manga in the 27th issue in June. Kamijyō serialized a manga named Shirogane no Karasu (The Silvery Crow) in Shonen Magazine last year but it only lasted half a year. Tokyopop just published the 28th of 38 Samurai Deeper Kyo manga volumes today.
