New La Corda D'Oro TV Anime in March Reportedly Leaked (Updated)

posted on by Egan Loo
KOEI's romance game for female gamers already spawned earlier TV series

The Japanese online retailer Game Star posted a listing for KOEI's female-oriented La Corda d'Oro 2 Forte (Kin-iro no Corda 2 F) romance simulation game that indicates a television series is in the works. According to the listing, a new characer named Etō will appear in both the PSP game, which will ship in Japan on February 26, and a television anime that is scheduled to premiere in March. Satoshi Hino will voice the new Etō character, but no other game retailer includes a mention of a television anime series in its listings.

The first La Corda d'Oro game was adapted into a television anime series, La Corda D'Oro - primo passo, in 2006. The story takes place in an academy where a girl receives a magical violin to compete in the school's elite music program. The player can choose how the girl interacts with her fellow students, including a bevy of handsome males. Two other franchises in KOEI's Neo Romance line romance simulation games for female players, Angelique and Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time-, have also been adapted into television anime series.
