posted on by Egan Loo
The ICv2 retail news source has published 2008's 20 top-selling graphic novels in American bookstores, as reported by A.C. Nielsen's BookScan service. While the #1 book was Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' Watchmen, the first volume and the last eight volumes of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga dominated the rest of the chart. Manga claimed eight more slots, including three volumes of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's Death Note, two volumes of Natsuki Takaya's Fruits Basket, two volumes of Matsuri Hino's Vampire Knight, and one volume of Tite Kubo's Bleach.
