Dankai Curry Chū-Kara Flash Anime Gets TV Run in Japan

The indi Software company announced on Wednesday that its Dankai Curry Chū-Kara Flash anime series will air on the Teletama station in Japan on April 6. The comedy centers around two retirees, a grandson, and the slice-of-life adventures they have in their free time around town. ("Dankai" refers to the Dankai generation, the huge number of people, born in Japan in 1947-49 after World War II, who are now facing life without having to work. "Curry Chū-Kara" means "curry, medium spicy.")
indi originally created this anime for its Ad-Ga Tengoku website. For the televised version, indi is updating the project with 30 longer episodes and replacing the soundtrack with dialogue recorded with professional anime voice actors. Newcomer Naoto Ōno designed the characters.
