Appleseed, Captain Tylor OVA DVD Reissues Listed (Updated)

The Right Stuf online retailer lists a 105-minute-long Appleseed DVD from A.D. Vision for a June 30 release. Shinji Aramaki's first computer-animated film version of Masamune Shirow's Appleseed manga was originally released on North American DVD by Geneon Entertainment (USA) Inc. in 2005. Warner Brothers released the DVD of Aramaki's sequel film, Ex Machina, with an English dub produced by A.D. Vision's ADV Films production arm in 2008.
Right Stuf also announced that it will release The Irresponsible Captain Tylor OVA Series Remastered DVD Collection on July 28. For people who already bought Right Stuf's earlier Ultra Edition of the science-fiction comedy series, the company is offering a trade-in program to upgrade the old sets to the remastered DVDs.
