Reborn Staff Creates Video for Aya Ueto's 'Smile for…'

The anime production team for the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! action comedy television series has created a music video with entirely new footage for "Smile for…," the anime's current ending theme song by Aya Ueto. The team already created animation footage to run during the ending credits on television, but the song's official music video features different, exclusive footage. The Barks music news website began streaming a sample of the new anime footage on Saturday. The entire music video will be bundled on a DVD with a limited first edition of the song's CD single on June 24. The CD single will also include the song "Mō ichido Dake," while the DVD will feature "Aya's Smile," a second music video edited from live-action video recordings of Ueto from the past two years.

The Crunchyroll media-distribution website is streaming the Reborn anime episodes within an hour of their Japanese airing. Viz Media is publishing the 12th volume of Akira Amano's original manga in North America next month.
