California's New People center to host "Tokyo Creators Market" art exhibit

The New People cultural entertainment center in San Francisco has announced on Monday that it is hosting the "Tokyo Creators Market" exhibition with art from Junko Mizuno, ON ZA LINE, Kim Songhe, and other artists. The exhibition will run from November 21 to the beginning of next year. Mizuno, ON ZA LINE, and Kim will be among the guests at a special sneak preview party on the evening of November 20, and invitations are available to email newsletter subscribers at www.newpeopleworld.com. Mizuno is the creator of the Cinderalla, Hansel and Gretel, Princess Mermaid, and Pure Trance books, and she just moved San Francisco before Last Gasp Publishing and jaPRESS released her latest book, Little Fluffy Gigolo PELU.

Voice actress and singer Yui Makino will continue her world concert tour with a December 26 stop in Singapore for the End of Year Cosplay Event:Eoy event. Makino is best known for voicing the main character Sakura in all of the anime adaptations of CLAMP's Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE manga. She also voiced roles in Welcome to the NHK, Bokurano, Sketchbook ~full color'S~, Sora Kake Girl, Taishō Yakyū Musume., Amuri in Star Ocean, Asu no Yoichi!, Kaze no Stigma, Needless, and Zegapain. In addition to her acting career, Makino has sung songs for all three Aria television anime series, the Tsubasa anime franchise, Aquarion, Sketchbook ~full color'S~, Sora Kake Girl, and Welcome to the NHK She already appeared at France's Japan Expo in July, at New York Anime Festival in September, and in live televised concert in Beijing this summer.
