Durarara, Fumihiko Sori's To Video Clips Streamed (Updated)

The official website for the anime adaptation of Ryohgo Narita's Durarara!! "high-tension suspense action" light novels has begun streaming a 30-second television commercial for the MBS network on Friday. The website also added comments from the staff and cast.
After launching his earlier Baccano! light novel series, Narita set the "warped adolescent fantasy romance" of Durarara!! in a rowdy version of Tokyo's Ikebukuro neighborhood in 2004. He has since written six Durarara!! novel volumes, and they have already inspired a manga series in Square Enix's G Fantasy magazine earlier this year. The television anime series will premiere in Japan in January.
The official website of Fumihiko Sori's computer-animated To science-fiction action project began streaming a 15-second story clip and a 15-second action clip on Friday. (In the linked page, select the "Movie" link at the bottom, and then select the first two video icons in the righthand menu.)
Sori is adapting two stories from Yukinobu Hoshino's 2001 Nights (2001 Ya Monotogari) manga. "Symbiotic Planet" and "Elliptical Orbit" are part of Hoshino's centuries-long storyline about mankind's voyages into space. In the past, Sori produced the first computer-animated Appleseed film and directed both Ping Pong and Vexille - 2077 Isolation of Japan. Jun Fukuyama and Aya Hirano lead To's voice cast as Ion and Ariina, respectively. The retail DVD and Blu-ray Disc versions will ship in Japan on December 18.
