TV Drama of GeGeGe Author's Wife Gets Anime Opening

The Japanese public broadcasting network NHK announced that GeGeGe no Kitarō horror manga characters will appear the live-action television adaptation of GeGeGe no Nyōbō (Spooky Wife), the essay book that the wife of Kitarō author Shigeru Mizuki wrote about their years together. Ittan Momen, Kitaro, and other Mizuki characters will make cameos. The television series' opening animation footage will feature Nao Matsushita as the manga creator's wife, Osamu Mukai as the creator himself, and the Kitarō characters. The television series will premiere in Japan on March 29.
