Finder Series to ship in Summer 2010, Kizuna to ship in September

Digital Manga Publishing has announced that it has licensed Ayano Yamane's Finder Series boys-love manga and dated its release of Kazuma Kodaka's Kizuna boys-love manga for North America. Both manga were previously licensed by Central Park Media.

Yamane's Finder Series follows freelance journalist Akihito Takaba and his relationship with the mysterious Asami, a powerful leader in Japan's underworld society. Yaoi-Con will host Yamane as a guest of honor in October.

Kitty MediaMedia Blaster's label for adult anime and manga releases — currently holds the North American license to Yamane's Crimson Spell manga. 801 Media has licensed Yamane's A Foreign Love Affair manga in North America.

DMP had previously announced at Yaoi-Con in October that it had licensed Kodaka's classic Kizuna manga. This September, DMP will release Kizuna in an omnibus edition, where each book will combine two volumes from the original release of the manga. Central Park Media had released the two-episode original video anime series in 2005, and Media Blasters holds the license to the sequel, Kizuna: Much Ado About Nothing. Kizuna involves a collection of short stories featuring characters associated with the main couple of the series, Ranmaru and Enjoji.

Update: More background information added.
