Campanella to debut in July; Hyakka Ryōran Samurai Girls this year

The official website for the television anime adaptation of the Shukufuku no Campanella -La Campanella Della Benedizione- adult personal computer game has relaunched with a new promotional video on Saturday. The anime will premiere in Japan this July. The original fantasy adventure game from Windmill Oasis is set in a port city known as the "treasury of the world" for the great riches that pass through it. The city is in the middle of preparations for a special harvest festival for the mysterious energy source known as Ēru, as a "Day of Shooting Stars" lights up the night skies. Leicester Maycraft is a young item technician who lives in the city as part of the Oasis adventurers clan. On the "Day of Shooting Stars," one shooting star lands near a party that Leicester attends. When Leicester searches for where the shooting star landed, a girl appears before Leicester and says, "You are my Papa!"

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Akira Suzuki and Niθ's Hyakka Ryōran Samurai Girls novels has also begun streaming a promotional video on Saturday. (In the linked page, select the "動画" menu option on the right, and then select the "百花繚乱 プロモーション映像" menu option.) The story is set in the early 21st century — except in this alternate world, the Tokugawa shogunate never lost power and Japan maintained its enforced seclusion from the rest of the world. At a giant academy for children of military families at the foot of Mt. Fuji, the student council enforces the suppression of rebellious elements. (Many of the students carry the names of famous historical figures.) The television series will premiere this year.
