Takeshi Nogami Responds to CNN's Rapelay Report (Updated)

On Saturday, manga creator Takeshi Nogami (Panzer fräulein ALTESEISEN, Sailor-fuku to Jūsensha) posted a response to CNN's March 30 coverage about the Japanese erotic game Rapelay. Nogami asked for his response to be translated into English, and the Tsurupeta.info website posted a translation.

Update: Nogami was responding to CNN's April 2 article (titled "Why would 'RapeLay' thrive in Japan?") and not directly to the earlier articles. Nogami was one of many creators who attached their names to a statement against the proposed restrictions of sexually provocative, "visual depictions" of characters who sound or appear to be younger than 18 years old in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
