Sengoku Angelique Project with Manga Revealed (Updated)

The July issue of Enterbrain's B's-LOG magazine is announcing on Thursday that a Sengoku Angelique project is being made. The project will combine the characters from Angelique (KOEI's romance adventure franchise for female gamers) with historical characters from Japan's sengoku (warring states) period. The characters include Oda Angelique Nobunaga, Date Oscar Masamune, Sanada Randy Yukimura, and Uesugi Julious Kenshin.
Marie Hadori is drawing the manga version of the project's story, which is being drafted by Ayuna Fujisaki (Here Is Greenwood, Aria the Animation). More details will be in the fifth volume of Enterbrain's Comic B's-Log Kyun! magazine next month. KOEI created the Neo Romance line of female-oriented games (such as Angelique, Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time- , and La Corda d'Oro), the Musō hack-and-slash game franchise, and the Nobunaga's Ambition strategy game franchise.

Update: The project was first announced at KOEI's "Neo Romance Festa: La Corda d'Oro Seiso Academy Festival 3" event, which ran on Saturday and Sunday.
