The oficial website for the live-action film adaptation of Karuho Shiina's Kimi ni Todoke manga has begun streaming a 30-second teaser trailer. (In the linked page, select the orange "特報" button.) The story follows the coming-of-age story of Sawako Kuronuma, a high school girl whose long black hair and pallid skin leads the other kids to call her Sadako (after the ghost character in The Ring horror stories). She eventually changes her life with a little help from the popular boy Kazehaya and her other classmates. The manga has already been adapted into a television anime series last fall, and Viz Media publishes the manga in North America. The film will open in Japan on September 25.

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Takaya Kagami's Densetsu no Yūsha no Densetsu (The Legend of the Legendary Heroes) fantasy light novel franchise began streaming its third, 110-second promotional video via the YouTube video service on Thursday. Both the official website and YouTube are still streaming the first two promotional videos. The Legend of the Legendary Heroes anime will premiere on July 1.

Square Enix began streaming a compilation of manga panels from Hiromu Arakawa's Fullmetal Alchemist dark fantasy manga on Friday. The video follows the long journey of the Elric brothers leading up to the final chapter, which ran in Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine on Friday. Bones' second anime adaptation of the manga will also end on July 4.

The official YouYube channel for Takeshi Koike and MADHOUSE's Redline car-racing anime film posted a five-second "test" movie on Friday. The film will open in Japan this October after advance screenings at international film festivals.
