Japan's Animation Blu-ray Disc Ranking, August 23-29

The market survey firm Oricon Communications announced on Wednesday that One Piece Film Strong World topped both the DVD chart and the Blu-ray Disc chart in Japan for the August 23-29 week. The One Piece Film Strong World Blu-ray 10th Anniversary Limited Edition sold 63,000 copies to rank #1 on the weekly chart. The standard edition Blu-ray sold an additional 10,000 copies to rank #5. In all, the film moved 226,000 copies on Blu-ray and DVD in just three days of release. (The film officially shipped on home video on August 27.)
