Sengoku Basara Two DVD Buyers Offered Bonus 3D DVD

Buyers of the Japanese DVD volumes of the Sengoku Basara Two television anime series can apply for a bonus DVD with stereoscopic 3D anime footage. The Gekisō 3D Nippon Jūdan Sword Summit! ~Date-Sanada Tokusei Sōkō Rittai Gankyō Tsuki!~ special DVD will feature the sword fight/horse race between the warriors Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura, rendered with added new shots in stereoscopic 3D. The DVD will include "Date-Sanada Tokusei Sōkō Rittai Gankyō" — a tongue-in-cheek way of saying "special red-blue 3D glasses" in archaic Japanese. (Date's signature color is blue, while Sanada's is red.)
This DVD is a separate bonus from the Mini Sengoku Basara: Tsukiyo no Katakura-kun DVD extras. The first Sengoku Basara Two DVD will ship on October 6 with the first two television episodes, as well as the first three-minute episode of Mini Sengoku Basara: Tsukiyo no Katakura-kun with super-deformed characters. In addition, the first DVD volume will have a digest video version of the live "Shutsujin-Shiki" (Deployment Ceremony) event that was held on June 26. The limited first edition of the DVD volume will also bundle a 102-minute "Sengoku Basara Party Edition" video summary of the first series, an audio "Variety Party CD," and two character cards.
Funimation announced at Anime Expo in July that it is simulcasting Sengoku Basara Two.
