The Barbican performing arts center in London will host a screening of The Great Adventure of Hutch, the Honeybee on November 7. The anime movie will be part of a festival titled "Aspects of Japanese Cinema," which will highlight many different kinds of Japanese films. The festival will run from October 19 to December 19.

The Great Adventure of Hutch, the Honeybee focuses on Hutch and his human companion, Amy. They set out on a journey after Hutch's hive is attacked by hornets, and they attempt to rescue his mother, the Queen, who was kidnapped. The film is based on a 1970-1971 children's anime series titled The Adventures of Hutch the Honeybee.

The earlier anime films xxxHOLiC the Movie: A Midsummer Night's Dream and Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE The Movie: Princess of the Birdcage Kingdom will also be shown at the festival on October 19. The Art of Osamu Tezuka: God of Manga author Helen McCarthy will be in attendance to introduce Hutch, the Honeybee.
