Battle Angel Alita/Gunnm: LO Manga to Resume in March

This year's fifth issue of Kodansha's Evening magazine is announcing on Tuesday that several new titles will join the magazine's lineup, including Yukito Kishiro's Battle Angel Alita: Last Order (GUNNM: Last Order) manga in the eighth issue in March. GUNNM: Last Order has been on hiatus after the 100th installment as the result of an issue between Kishiro and the manga's previous home, Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine. Kishiro announced last August that he will move the manga to Kodansha. Viz Media has licensed all of the Battle Angel Alita/GUNNM manga except GUNNM Another Stories for release in North America.

Kentarō Okamoto will launch Sanzoku Diary: Real Ryōshi Funtō-ki, a manga of his personal journal, in this year's sixth issue of Evening. In the next issue, Yuriko Nishiyama (Harlem Beat) will start Japonica no Arukikata. Kemono to Chat creator Takayuki Mizushina's Itoshi no Mūko, Mieko Ōsaka's tentatively titled Ikumen, Neko Ramen creator Kenji Sonishi's Shinkai Manga Kurage-chan, and Tatsuhiko Yamakami and Mikio Igarashi's Hitsuji no Ki will launch in the ninth, 10th, 11th, and 12th issues, respectively.
