Also from Viz on streaming site: part of Honey and Clover, NANA

The video rental and streaming website Netflix has added several television anime series from the North American anime/manga distributor Viz Media to its Instant Watch streaming library. ANN has confirmed that these are Viz's first streaming titles to appear on Netflix, although the company's titles have been available for disc rental on the site for some time.

Among these are all 167 episodes that make up the first anime series of Inuyasha, based on Rumiko Takahashi's manga of the same name. However, the follow-up series InuYasha: The Final Act was not available either for disc rental or streaming on the site at press time.

The complete series of Hikaru no Go, a television anime adaptation of Yumi Hotta and Takeshi Obata's manga of the same name, is also available streaming on the site, as is the entirety of the television anime adaptation of Chika Umino's manga Honey and Clover.

Additionally, the following series are now partially available:

  • Bleach episodes 1 through 109
  • Naruto seasons 1 & 2 (episodes 1 through 104)
  • NANA season 1

Update: Viz Media has confirmed that Honey and Clover is available in its entirety.
