The official website for Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing- (Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam), the new anime series in Gonzo's Last Exile franchise, began streaming the first promotional video off the Flying Dog music label's YouTube channel on Friday. Director Koichi Chigira, character designer Range Murata, and production designer Makoto Kobayashi are all returning from the first Last Exile anime, but the new person in charge of scripts is Kiyoko Yoshimura.

The story centers around Fam (Aki Toyosaki), a girl from an aerial family in an adventure set in the open skies. The new television series will premiere at Anime Expo in Los Angeles during the extended July 1-4 holiday weekend.

The official website for the Deadman Wonderland television anime series began streaming two advance promotional videos off Kadokawa's YouTube channel on Friday. The first video features the opening theme song "One Reason" by fade, while the second video features the ending theme song "Shiny Shiny" by Nirgilis.

Jinsei Kataoka and Kazuma Kondou's original Deadman Wonderland manga is set after the destruction of most of Tokyo by an earthquake, and it centers on Ganta Igarashi, a middle school student framed for the murder of his classmates. Igarashi is sentenced to Deadman Wonderland, a bizarre privatized prison that is one part incarceration and one part public spectacle for tourists. The television anime will premiere on April 16.

The official website for the Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai (Anohana) television anime is streaming the credit-less ending animation footage from April 7 until April 27. The story follows several childhood friends who try to reconnect in high school after drifting apart. The video features the ending theme song "secret base ~Kimi ga Kuretamono~" by the characters Meiko Honma (Ai Kayano), Naruko Anjō (Haruka Tomatsu), and Chiriko Tsurumi (Saori Hayami).

Tatsuyuki Nagai (Toradora!, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun) is directing off the scripts by Mari Okada (Toradora!, Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler). Masayoshi Tanaka (Toradora!, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) is designing the characters, and the singer-songwriter REMEDIOS (Reimy) is composing the music. The anime will premiere on April 14 in Fuji TV's late-night Noitamina timeslot.

On Thursday, the American television channel G4 began streaming a 3-minute series of clips from Wolverine, the Japanese anime based on the American comics character from Marvel's X-Men franchise. G4 will broadcast the four Marvel/Madhouse anime titles starting with Iron Man and Wolverine this July. (X-Men is currently airing in Japan.) The preview clip is in Japanese, although Marvel recently revealed that Heroes actor Milo Ventimiglia will provide the voice of the title character.

The North American anime distributor Funimation has posted a trailer for the June 7 Blu-ray/DVD combo pack release of the original video anime TO: Elliptical Orbit to its YouTube account. The trailer is also available on Funimation's official website for the project.

Funimation announced its acquisition of the anime at Katsucon in February. The series is directed by Fumihiko Sori, who will also direct Funimation's upcoming original production based on the BioWare videogame franchise Dragon Age.
