Valkyria 3, C, Kimi to Boku, Priest Promos Streamed

The website for the Senjō no Valkyria 3: Ta ga Tame no Jūsō anime began streaming a promotional video for the first volume on Wednesday. The two-episode anime adapts Sega's Valkyria Chronicles 3 : Unrecorded Chronicles simulation role-playing game, which shipped in Japan on January 27. The anime's first volume is now available on the PlayStation Store in Japan, and the Blu-ray Disc and DVD versions will ship on June 29.

The website for Noitamina's C television anime series is streaming the credit-less opening and ending animation footage from April 13 to April 27. In modern-day Japan, an ordinary economics student named kimimaro Yoga suddenly encounters Masakaki, a shady man from the Bank of Midas. Masakaki offers kimimaro some lending money and a chance to be a player in a parallel-world "Financial District" — with kimimaro's future potential as collateral.

Kenji Nakamura (Ayakashi, Mononoke, Kūchū Buranko) is directing the anime at Tatsunoko Production. Noboru Takagi (Durarara!!, Baccano!, Koi Kaze) is supervising and writing the scripts, and mebae (Sugar Dark: Umerareta Yami to Shōjo illustrator, Black Rock Shooter animator, Cencoroll contributor) is designing the characters, while Keiichi Satou (The Big O, Junkers Come Here) is the conceptual designer. The group School Food Punishment is performing the ending theme song "RPG." C will premiere on April 14.

The official website for the live-action film adaptation of Shigeto Yamagara's Flash anime Kimi to Boku (You and I) also began streaming the full 84-second trailer on Wednesday. Actor Aoi Nakamura (Beck, Q.E.D., Ōoku: The Inner Chambers) plays the aspiring manga creator who is the "kimi" of the title, while voice actress/singer Maaya Sakamoto voices Gin-Ō-gō the American Shorthair cat who is the "boku" of the title. The story follows the friendship between the cat and the young man from when they first meet up to when they must part.

Yamagara based his self-produced Flash anime on his own real-life experiences. Since he launched the anime online in 2001, it has garnered 4.8 million page views. The anime was translated into English under the name Everlasting Heart. Takashi Kubota (Bad Boys, Mr. Children's "Hibiki" music video) is directing the 45-minute film for a May 14 opening.

The Yahoo! website began streaming the second theatrical trailer for Scott Stewart's loose live-action adaptation of the Korean manhwa Priest on Tuesday. Hyung Min-woo created the original manhwa that Tokyopop released in North America. The trailer features Paul Bettany as the titular priest Ivan Isaacs, Cam Gigandet as Sheriff Hicks, Maggie Q as the Priestess, Lily Collins as Isaacs' kidnapped niece Lucy, and Karl Urban as Black Hat.

After three delays, the movie is now slated for release in 2D and stereoscopic 3D on May 13.
