Fate/Zero, HoshiKaka, Lupin Promo Videos Streamed

posted on by Egan Loo
Fate/Zero debuts in October; Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi, Lupin no Kiganjō are now playing

The official website for the Fate/Zero television anime series began streaming the first 80-second promotional video on Monday. A version of this promotional video was shown during last week's Machi Asobi event in Tokushima, Japan, but the online version has additional changes.

The anime adapts the prequel novel by Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Phantom - The Animation, Blassreiter) to Type-Moon's Fate/stay night visual novel software. The story is set a decade before Fate/stay night and reveals the 4th Holy Grail War that sets the stage for the war in the software. Director Ei Aoki (Hourou Musuko, Ga-Rei: Zero, Girls Bravo), the anime studio ufotable, and composer Yuki Kajiura (Madoka Magica, .hack, Kara no Kyoukai) are all involved in this anime which will premiere this October.

The official website for the Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi television anime series began streaming a collaborative Blu-ray Disc/DVD commercial between Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi and The IDOLM@STER anime's idol characters. The IDOLM@STER's Haruka Amami (Eriko Nakamura), Ami and Mami Futami (Asami Shimoda), Yayoi Takatsuki (Mayako Nigo), Makoto Kikuchi (Hiromi Hirata), and Hibiki Ganaha (Manami Numakura) narrate five different versions of the commercial.

The collaboration is part of the "Real 765 Pro" project, in which producers are offering the franchise's cast for real-world jobs such as narrating television programs, appearing at department store events, or acting as "campaign girls" for products — the same kind of jobs that the cast does within both the games and the upcoming anime. The anime adaptation of feng's Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi adult bishōjo game launched on April 11, and Crunchyroll is streaming the anime outside Japan as it airs. The first Blu-ray/DVD volume will ship in Japan on June 15.

The Cinema Today website is streaming a 116-second trailer for Masatoshi Akihara's live-action Lupin no Kiganjō film on the YouTube website. The film adapts Maurice Leblanc's "L'aiguille Creuse" story about Arsène Lupin — the thief character who inspired Monkey Punch's Lupin III character. Popular voice actor Kouichi Yamadera (Cowboy Bebop's Spike) plays Arsène Lupin. The film opened in Japan on Saturday.
