5 TV Anime Blu-ray Discs Each Sold 10,000+ in Same Week

IS, Oreimo, Tiger & Bunny, Index II join Madoka Magica on weekly chart

Five Blu-ray Disc volumes from different television anime series each sold over 10,000 copies on Oricon's sales chart for the May 23-29 week. As previously reported, the second limited-edition volume of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica television anime topped the chart with 54,000 units sold. The second volume of the IS (Infinite Stratos) television anime sold about 23,000 units (rounded to the nearest thousand) to debut at #2.

Below the top two was the sixth volume of Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai (Oreimo) with about 16,000 units sold, followed by Tiger & Bunny's first volume with about 15,000. Finally, the fourth volume of Toaru Majutsu no Index II sold about 11,000.
