Australian screening of Last Exile sequel at Manifest tomorrow, Madman to simulcast series

posted on by Georgia Blair
Madman Entertainment will host an encore screening of the first episode of Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing- at Manifest (Melbourne Anime Festival) tomorrow, August 27.

Madman Entertainment will host the second Australian premiere of the first episode of Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing- at Manifest (Melbourne Anime Festival) tomorrow, August 27, following today's initial screening. Details may be found on Manifest's schedule.

Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing- is the sequel to the 2003 television series Last Exile, set in a fictional world with a strong 19th century influence and aerial vehicles known as vanships. The series is produced by Gonzo with staff from the first series also returning, including character designer Range Murata.

Madman Entertainment announced their acquisition of the title and the premiere screenings in a press release earlier this month. The series will begin broadcasting on Japanese television in October. Advanced screenings were held at last month's Anime Expo in the United States, making tomorrow's Manifest screening the fourth world premiere of the anime.

To avoid long queues, seats will be given to attendees with free tickets obtained from Manifest's Ticketing and Information booth in the main foyer. Also the screenings have extra audience participation with voice recording of two lines for the show after the screening.

Madman also announced today that it will simulcast Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing- on its website in October. More details will be provided as they are given.
