Also release of Birdy the Mighty Decode:02 and live-action manga horror adaptation Suicide Club.

On Monday August 19, Manga Entertainment releases the twelve-part series The Sacred Blacksmith (Seiken no Blacksmith) in a single DVD set, RRP £34.99. The series, based on light novels by Isao Miura, revolves around a young woman, Cecily, who becomes a knight and seeks a mysterious blacksmith, Luke Ainsworth, to forge her sword. The katana-wielding Luke has the power to forge powerful swords capable of defeating demons.

EMI is releasing a Blu-ray edition of the feature-length music video INTERSTELLA 5555, already released on British DVD. Created by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk and anime/manga creator Leiji Matsumoto, the film adapts the songs from Daft Punk's Discovery album into a space opera story. The Recordstore website is selling the Blu-Ray bundled with an A2 hand-numbered lithograph film artwork print, price £21.99.

Also on Monday, Manga releases Birdy the Mighty Decode:02, the sequel to Birdy the Mighty: Decode, which was released on DVD in June. The sequel's RRP is £24.99. Both series were inspired by the action manga by Masami Yuuki.

Finally, the Cine du Monde label is releasing the notorious 2002 Japanese live-action horror picture Suicide Club, directed by Shion Sono. The film, about an epidemic of grisly suicides in Japan, is adapted from the manga Jisatsu Circle by Usamaru Furuya.
